Really disappointed with EE lately. Constant poor connection on both 4G and 5G — no or just one line signal bars but barely any data actually works. Coverage checker says the area has “excellent service4G and good on 5G,” but the reality is the complete opposite!!! Can’t load pages, and calls drop randomly. What’s the point of showing great coverage if the service is unusable? #EE #networkissues #falsecoverage

If indoors do you have fixed broadband? You can then use wifi calling, which works the same as if on network, but is rooted via the broadband.

As for roaming, it depends what plan you are on, as to whether you have to pay for roaming and where you are going, which country you are visiting.

Daily roaming charges are only applied on days you use your phone for anything other than receiving text messages, whilst abroad. I don't see the relevance of this to any issues with UK coverage.

The daily charge is for making & receiving calls, sending texts or using mobile data.

Don't do any of these things, and the charge is not applied.

If you're outside in most urban areas without coverage, I totally agree something is wrong. Out of interest, what makes you so convinced it's the EE network at fault?
