So we have 2 properties. 1 in Hereford and 1 in Sandwell. The mobile signal is shocking in Sandwell, but improves some in Hereford. Either at home. Out and about I'm Sandwell, we're lucky to get a connection and this is the whole family using Samsung and Apple phones.

Whenever we call up, it's never a problem with EE.

Having just returned from Venice, mobile signal never missed a beat, same applies in Ireland in the middle of no where, but a few miles from Birmingham we're lucky if we can get a half decent signal.

For me, I'm not wasting anymore time calling to be told it's my location, my home etc.

You have until May to fix it, or we'll move to a network that actually works.

All networks have good & bad coverage areas, but the wider a geographical area a particular phone has problems, the more likely it is to be a device issue and the less likely it is to be network-related. Thus you might be extremely unlucky!

That said, what exactly do you mean by "lucky if we can get a half-decent signal"? On-screen bars are a rough guide, and not the be-all-and-end-all. What problems, if any, are you having with calls, texts or mobile data?
