Can somebody tell me why Halesworth IP198RX is down for maintenance every other week (And now), EE is becoming very unreliable in this area.

There's innumerate possibilities here. Do you get any advance notice from the status webtool, of outages? That would suggest pre-planned works rather than reactive maintenance, if so.

I feel your pain, 2 days now without phone signal in this part of Halesworth (which makes reporting it difficult). Head out to Southwold full signal and phones back in action. As you say this has become common place over last couple of weeks .
