I believe there's less carrier-aggregation available with SA at the current time - so performance can depend which NR carriers have been deployed cf. LTE ones.

I'm on the Full Works package. My phone is an S24 Ultra. I get the 5g Standalone signal at my work but I must confess when connected to 5g with 5g Vol the service is shocking.

Web pages take forever to load and Internet is dreadfully slow. It's so bad I have to switch off 5g on the phone and use 4g instead.

I must be just on the border line for 5g SA service but I did think it would have been better.

Anyone else similar?

I have turned 5G off completely and just use 4G.

5G on EE is completely useless, the service is, as you rightly say, shocking.

I’ve just switched from 3 to EE, and chose EE as my work phone signal and data speed has been great all over the country where as my 3 and O2 were horrific.

My work phone is an old Samsung and personal is a iPhone 15 pro max. In my experience there is no difference between 5G SA and 5G. Did a comparison earlier between the two devices and little in it.
