Is this a location that you've previously had coverage but have subsequently lost it? Every network has good & bad areas, but WiFi-calling provides a solution to indoor coverage issues whenever & whyever they occur.

Otherwise make sure you test any prospective new network using a PAYG SIM in all the areas you frequent. That avoids swapping one problem location for another.

Hey there @donkeylegs, thanks for stopping by the Community.

Our update messages will always aim to keep you in the loop with what's happening nearby, but I appreciate it'll be frustrating if you keep expecting a resolution to find it then go down again.

Please don't share any addresses or postcodes in full, but what area is it you're noticing this happening in?

If there are ongoing issues nearby we often have threads with updates, so it's definitely worth checking to see if there's anything already here.

We've been here for 8 years, it's in a new estate and we've only ever had a
mobile signal in one corner of the garden, other Virgin neighbours say the
same, but they gave up years ago and went with other companies.
Found the cause of Mobile and Wi-Fi signals not being transmitted to and
fro my home ….. Modern homes use foil backed plasterboard as a vapour
barrier, but it can also be a barrier to Wi-Fi and Mobile signals. My home
is fairly new and utilises this type of foil-backed plasterboard, so no
such signals for me and all those living in new homes.

One solution for loss of Wi-Fi signals is to use extenders or set up a Mesh
Network. As to the loss of Mobile reception, I’m resigned to continue to
stand on my shed roof facing the south pole.

Kind regards,

*PaulCMurton*

The contents of this message are confidential & may be privileged and is
for the exclusive use of the intended recipient.
