Hi
I have been having issues for some time. Calls not connecting. People calling and not getting through. More miss calls. Phoned EE a number times and they come back and say there are no issues. When out in an unobstructed area by any trees and house or buildings. Still cannot connect a call. The phone only shows 1 bar for signal strength. My phone is not an old model. This is most areas around Brighton.
Regards
Brian
Sent from my iPhone

I am having the conbection problems in the Brighton area. Been going on for a long time now and EE do not have an answer to resolve this problem. Had to make 999 call recently for a serious RTC . And the call drop out whilst talking to emergency services. Been with EE for years. About time for a change. Any help from anyone to resolve this.

Can you be more specific on what "conbection problems" means? Does the predicted coverage in your area broadly match that of the "check coverage" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker ?

All networks have good & bad coverage in some places, your comment about EE not having an answer suggests a previous interaction?

Whether your phone shows one bar or five bars is immaterial - that's still bars of coverage.

When EE-CS told you there were no issues, did you point out that calls not connecting when coverage is shown, is clear evidence of an issue? There's a process for investigating call problems, and it doesn't sound like CS have followed it.

Can you use mobile data whilst on calls?

Hi
I can make calls through WiFi. The calls on the phone are very intermittent. Other people in the house have the same problem. I have called 4 times to EE over a period of 4 months to resolve this but get the same replies. There is no problem there end. ??.
One operator did tell me that there was a significant drop in calls from the mast in the area where people were experiencing the same issue.
Sent from my iPhone

There is definitely something that needs to be looked at further with our tech guides @Brian150, especially if there is multiple phones impacted.

Have you reported a problem when entering the post code in the Network Status Checker?

Hi Michael

Done a check on all areas and it tells me that all good outside and in the house. This is norm when I do signal checks. It never shows any issues.
frustrating.

There would be an option to report a problem when you have entered the post code @Brian150.

That will go to our network team for them to have a look at the local sites to see if there is anything that may be causing this to happen, and address it if there is.
