No EE-branded SIM should have any issue accessing 5G services, there may be some confusion between SA/NSA but that's another issue. It would be easy to test alongside another 5G phone.

As regards your 4G bars, 4G is operated across 4 different frequency bands with different characteristics. The on-screen bars are only a rough guide, and it wouldn't be unusual for 2 phones to be connected to different bands from the same site - and thus display different numbers of bars.

I have never been able to access 5G no matter where I go it never shows in the top right I have an iPhone 15 pro max and after owning it for 8 months I’ve never seen the symbol, I went into a store (ee) and asked the question, they replaced my sim telling me it may be too old?

After further use I still haven’t seen 5G symbol on my phone and I feel like I’m paying money towards my contract and not getting my moneys worth does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I also have no service or less bars for 4G in certain areas compared to others on the same network next to me I don’t know why this is maybe it’s just a coincidence?
