&lt;P&gt;Calls between EE 4G/5G phones should use either "HD" or "HD+" encoding, providing close to in-person clarity. Are you able to use mobile data whilst on calls? That's a good indication of using VoLTE (4G-calling).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you using Android or Apple? The on-screen indicators for the alternative wideband codecs do differ.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I thought I’d jump in here as well…&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I’m having exactly the same issues, like others have said it’s not technical hardware. And only when making calls to other EE phones, happens on data and Wi-Fi calling unfortunately. It’s absolutely abysmal quality, and often leading to annoyed people on both ends! End up having to finish our phone calls early sometimes after a few minutes, this is just not good enough.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have multiple lines with EE and considering moving them all due to this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Why isn’t EE taking this seriously?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
