Is this a recent problem? Are you saying that calls are dropping with coverage displayed? Or that you are losing coverage?

If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

No this is not a recent problem. It seems to be a constant problem. I do use wi-fi calling but it still drops out. I am actually sitting next to the router and lost calls. I actually get lots of emails from EE telling me there is an issue with the network in my area.

It is getting to be rather annoying at the best of times.

Does your phone show a WiFi-calling indicator when this happens?

Most phones are set to use the mobile network in preference if the signal is usable, and only connect to WiFi-calling when necessary - I suspect yours is doing this, and WiFi-calling is not kicking in.

Android phones often have an option to set "mobile-preferred" or "WiFi-preferred". Otherwise, if you're using Apple, try enabling flight mode and then re-enable WiFi-manually.

Does this make WiFi-calling any more reliable?

That sounds like the case. The wi-fi is at full strength and doesn't seem to kick in when I lose the network signal. I will check my settings for this. Many thanks
