Would agree. Always been reliable for me personally as I travel a lot it’s been reliable. This year it’s becoming a real challenge. I have a new IPhone 15 Pro and this issue is the same as my old SE.

Interestingly we have transferred our business to EE (across the UK) and are now slowly moving staff back to O2 due to serious signal issues.

Our tech team have suggested that it may be due to EE moving out old tech (3g?) but not yet updating their coverage of 4 and 5 g quickly enough. Ie they have now reduced their service provision

I've seen first-hand the difference that a specific phone can make, where perceived network issues are concerned - i.e. 2 EE phones side-by-side in numerous areas, and one has all the symptoms of a network with multiple major config issues.

That said, what are the specific issues you're seeing? Given that on-screen coverage bars are nothing more than a basic guide.

@Vick140 wrote:

It's a great conspiracy theory! There have been widely reported issues with 3G switch-off, but these have largely affected specific networks due to their radio design & reliance on 3G. EE was in a very strong position prior to 3G switch-off due to low reliance on the historical tech, and strength of 4G design & coverage.
