I and some of my colleagues (some also on EE and others with different providers (ie, Vodafone) are also having the same issue in our office in Mayfair. It has been going on, as others below have mentioned, for at least the last 2 weeks. Generally we have 'no service' at all and at best 1 bar every now and again.

I have just looked at the Network Checker and it is saying that there is good service in SW1A, when in fact, it is virtually non-existent. I have reported the problem.

Hi @KW59

Thanks for coming to the community.

I know how frustrating it is when things aren't working as expected!

Have you and your colleagues on EE checked the area using our Mobile Coverage Checker? After heading here you'd need to select "Check Service Status", which would let you know if anything is going on. I appreciate you reporting this to us directly though so we can investigate this further.

I understand having "no service" will impact how you can use your phone, but having signal bars showing indicates a signal is there.

Before the last 2 weeks, was everything in the office OK?

Linzi

Hi Linzi,

Before writing my post I checked the signal checker and it said that it was a good service in the area, which was definitely not the case.

We have always had good reception in the office generally, this is definitely a new problem.

Ironically, the same day I wrote my post, whilst walking about 10 minutes away from the office at lunchtime, I overheard a couple of people on the street complaining that they never seem to get any signal on their phone in the area anymore, so it's obviously a widespread problem and not just with EE.

Thanks so much for coming back to me @KW59

If this has only recently started to happen and there are quite a few users impacted, it would be worth you contacting our technical support team.

They can take a few more details about your experience in this area, and dig a little deeper into what could be causing this to happen.

Please contact us directly when you have some free time so we can help further.
