Radio Streaming on public transport

Hi Guys,

I always listened to the radio on my phone during commute on the London Met Line Journey from Amersham to Finchley Rd.

Recently I cannot connect to any radio services, checked the device and being a late model iphone works fine.

Was chatting to a few other commuters who's experience is the same.

Is this because of the 3G switch off? What else could it be?

@DougDG Providing it’s an iPhone 5 or above you’ll get 4G on it and an iPhone 12 or above will also get 5G on it

Is 4G/LTE enabled on the device?

The 3G network was sun-setted in January 2024.

Can you use other internet-based functions on your phone when radio streaming fails?

Can you use mobile data when on voice calls?
