Callers hearing international dialling tone although I’m in the UK

Certain callers are getting the international dialling tone when they call me, despite me being in the UK. I’ve reset the phone & network settings & it hasn’t solved it. It’s costing me work, because people are abandoning calls thinking I’m abroad. It seems to of been a problem for sometime on the EE network, although I can’t find a solution for it?

I've seen similar reports previously.

To clarify though, are you saying this only affects particular inbound calls? Is it consistent to particular callers, or random?

The ringtones are generated by the core network, I'd be quite surprised if any device-based reset solved this.

My brother is on EE, Mom is on Asda mobile & they get the UK dialling tone when they call, but a Sky landline & various other mobile networks get the international ringing tone when they call?

If you contact our technical support team and let them know this, they'll be able to continue with the troubleshooting and escalate this to the level 2 team for investigation.
