No service at home

For well over a month now despite the EE Service Status Checker saying there are no known network problems in this area this is a blatant lie as I only have one & VERY occasionally 2 bars & cannot make or receive calls or pick up voicemail messages anywhere in or around my home address & have to walk or drive about a mile away to get any kind of signal. I know it is not my phone as I've recently used it abroad without any issues & can use it when away from home. My supplier have updated the SIM & replaced it & after weeks of hassling them have finally admitted;

"We are currently experiencing a network issue with outbound services that may be affecting you. You may find that when making a call it does not connect, when sending a text/SMS it does not go, or when using mobile data you can’t access any websites. All inbound services are not affected, i.e. you can receive calls and texts".

This is also untrue as I cannot receive calls.

They then say;

"The network issue affecting outbound services was resolved (22:30 on 14 May) by the network engineers and your service should have returned to normal"

It hasn't & absolutely nothing has changed - except they continue to take money for a service I can't use.

When is this disgraceful situation going to be fixed - properly?

Are you an EE-direct customer? Or an MVNO user?

I've no idea what an MVNO user is but I'm with 1p mobile.

@greTal 1p mobile is a MVNO network. As EE isn’t your network provider you take this up with 1p.

I suspected as much. An MVNO is a "Mobile Virtual Network Operator" who piggybacks on an MNO ("Mobile Network Operator") for radio coverage, while providing the customer service & billing themselves.
