There's nothing inherently wrong with "only one bar", but what is the specific issue you're having with making or receiving calls when your phone is showing coverage?

I have the same issue as you for a few months now - from 3 bars dropped to 1 bar and the signal is not good even in 1 mile radius. My friend cannot call me through calls unless using WhatsApp. I called the support team and they did a few tests but no issue can be found, this is frustrating.

It got cut off or couldn’t get through at all. For example, I can see coming call on my phone, then it either stops within 3 seconds or got ‘cut’ straight after I picked up. But my friend didn’t hear ringing sound at all on his phone in both case.

This issue only occur when I’m back to the area.

Did the "few tests" that CS did, include logging examples of failed calls for further investigation?

Normally you should be asked to supply as many examples as possible, over a 48-72hour period.

A valid point - you shouldn't need to.

It should only take a handful of examples to prove commonality. Dropped calls would be the easiest examples to work with, as opposed to those which failed to connect.
