I'm having this same issue. My phone is next to me and doesn't ring, but I get a missed call text but nothing in my recent calls. When I phone back, the caller says my phone was ringing, so wasn't going straight to voicemail. Happening more and more. Also happening to my friend on O2 who also has an iphone, but a different model, so must be a software issue?...

Haven't found any help for it, but it is infuriating.
