&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry to hear you're having service problems.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've had a look at the status checker and it reports some maintenance work in the area.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you tried tapping the 'check status' rather than 'check coverage' option?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Update :was able to get through on the landline to report the problem, apparently ee are doing “work” last weekend this weekend and next weekend in our area , you would have thought customers would have been informed !!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;There's an option to register for updates about your area on the status checker. Just enter your phone number and postcode after running a check.&lt;/P&gt;
