Can't make a phone call

I can't make outgoing phonecalls without restarting my phone or going into airplane mode.

I still have data/network connection to receive calls, send texts etc. It is only outgoing calls affected.

I am in the UK, pay monthly and I haven't made any changes to my phone or account it just seems to have started over the last few weeks. Bill is paid and I have full package of minutes to use but still having problems.

Any idea how to fix or what could cause? It is frustrating having to add extra steps into making phone calls.

What happens when you try making a call?

Does VoLTE (Android) or 4G-call (Apple) show on-screen when you have problems?

When I try the screen shows as dialing but nothing happens, no dial tone, busy tone or error tone. After a few seconds it just shows 'call ended'.

It shows 4g normally at the top even when it errors and I have signal. I have a pixel 7a so run android.

WiFi calling does work, but it's more frustrating that it would appear normal network not working correctly.

Turning the phone on and off, or In airplane mode and back off seems to sort it for a short time.

Does this only happen in one location, or everywhere @Daniyelly?
