Mum (91) has a Doro Phone Easy 308 on a pay as you go account. Used solely for SMS and phone calls. Will the 3G switch of render this Phone useless?

Once the 3G switch off is complete the phone will continue to use 2G for calls & texts.

It's only if she uses it for data will she notice any difference (vast slowdown on the Internet).
