Data no longer working on old phone since upgrading

As of yesterday I upgraded my apple I phone 11 to an apple I phone 13. I'm waiting for my new handset to be delivered in the post. As of today I turned my phone off and on and my Data no longer works even though it is showing as visible. I believe I have now started my new contract which is essentials 5G.

If you text BALANCE to 150, what does the reply show for data remaining?

Can you make calls and texts?
