Home mobile data / poor signal - will unlimited speed SIM help?

Hi. I have no home internet where I live, and I'm stuck with that. I also live in an area notorious for poor signal, and unfortunately I'm tied to EE as that's the the best signal I can get, and it's not great either 😔

(I'm out of EE contract, and I've recently tried a few sims from O2 / Three / Vodafone spending £10 on each to check)

My question... I've been on the 'Essentials Unlimted' plan with EE, but would the 'Essentials Max' plan help things?

I called EE to discuss a new SIM plan, and the agent said yes the uncapped speeds would help to improve matters, but of course they would, it's a dearer plan 😄

(The agent then switched off my SIM leaving me in a right mess, so I'm not keen to speak to them again)

I have a brand new Samsung s23+ phone in case that info is needed.

With the unlimited plan, you can access the fastest speeds that are available in the area. To check the coverage in the area please see the EE Coverage & Network Status Checker | Check your signal.
