I've driven that route a couple of times recently, if the dashboard monitor was anything to go by, coverage levels were as I'd expect.

When you say "incredibly poor reception", do you mean poor indicated coverage? Or something else? Did you have any specific problems making or receiving calls, or otherwise using your phone?

Indicated onscreen bars are just that, an indication.

I have an iPhone 11. I get incredibly poor reception on 4G in Bromsgrove and along the M42 corridor. I had the same problem with giff gaff, but changed to EE. I now have exactly the same problem. According to the map on the app I should have excellent signal. My wife has the same problem with her phone. It has now been like this for a few months.

Hi @Leftydrum

Welcome to the community.

Have you reported a problem on our coverage checker? If you pop your postcode in and hit 'check status', it will give you the option to report a problem so that our network team can look into it for you.
