topic 5gee smart hub connection drops in Mobile Network discussions

Is there any reason why I need to reset my 5gee smart hub several times a day because of consistent connection drops?

Sometimes my connection drops 6+ times a day. The problem is so intermittent that I can't diagnose the problem myself although I can use personal hotspot with my phone 24/7 and never have any problem (both EE). I have tried calling but the response is always the same. First call technical support who tell you to reset the hub, which is all I seem to do. It's not so much of a frustration while browsing or watching movies, but losing connection in the middle of competitive games starts to get too much.

Hi @paulthomp3,

It sounds like a device related issue rather than the network as you don't see the same issue with your phone.

Have you let technical support know that the reset didn't resolve the issue?
