Loss of internet

Hi I'm messaging you because the past few weeks I'm in work I log onto there internet used to be good connection but all of a sudden it started playing up going on and off connection I've been putting my data on it connects for a bit and goes off my friend is having the same problem aswell she's on EE also.

Hi @Saracen1966,

Are you in a building when you are trying to use your data connection? Depending on how far you are from a mast and the construction of the building you will likely experience reliability issues with mobile data when inside. I work in a large concrete building and get zero data connection, however my boss sits by a window and gets 5 bars of 5G. WiFi is preferred for indoor use.

You could try checking for problems and coverage in your area using the Network & Coverage Tool.

I'm inside most of the time but on my break go outside but I will check
tomorrow and put where I am see what happens thankyou.

If you're having problems with a WiFi connection, then this is solely an issue with the router you're connected to, and the broadband connection it's using.

Does your phone show 4G or 5G coverage when you have problems with mobile data?
