There isn't normally any need to get a new SIM with upgrade phones - you simply use your existing working SIM in your new phone.

If there is a fault with your existing SIM or it doesn't fit your new phone, then replace it by all means.

At 10am yesterday I agreed an upgrade contract with a new phone arriving next week and a new sun with the same number coming too

i was assure my current phone would work until then

got to 11pm roughly last night and it has no coverage at all. I have to have my work phone to hot spot from and can make no calls. The work phone is also EE so there is no reason for the personal phone not to work.

I have restarted, put in and out of flight and checked the personal phone and still have no luck. I can’t keep on with this until next week - any ideas please!

Hi @P_a_B

Thanks for coming here.

I am sorry to hear the SIM card has stopped working, if this does not show signal in the other phone you will need a new SIM.

If you have an EE Store near you, you can take photo ID and be given a replacement SIM you can use now and with the new phone.

Leanne.
