Historically PAYG didn't access to the low-band 800Mhz service which could make a difference in some rural areas but that's no longer true.

There's nothing inherently wrong with 1bar of coverage - the onscreen indicators are only a rough guide and there are times when a perceivably weaker signal can perform better than one that indicates stronger, due to the carriers in use,.

What are the issues you're having with using mobile data? And does your indicated service tally with that predicted by the coverage checker?

Hi, Ive just joined EE on PAYG but Im not seeing the amazing connection that everyone says it is. So far the majority of the time I have 1 bar of 4g and some issues with streaming music that I didn't have with others.

So, my question for anyone who can help is, is the pay monthly service better? Does it get access to bands that PAYG dont get or something like that?

Thanks in advance.
