I used to have the strongest signal anywhere. I am sat in my back garden with barley one 4g bar that keeps dropping off. The signal checker says I should have full bars inside and outside my house. Bristol area but also use a lot in Devon for tethering. Out of interest, where are you in Bristol?</P> <P>The onscreen bars are only a rough guide and 1bar should still be perfectly usable.
