EE update changed my phone number

I received un update message from EE this morning asking me to delete the messaged and restart the phone, which I did.

After the update I noticed I could no longer access the internet or mobile data in any way. I have now since noticed that the update has somehow changed my phone number. What's going on?

Have you requested a number transfer from another network?

If you text NUMBER to 150, does the reply show the correct number?
