When I went to EE the coverage was good in my area had 4 solid bars. Gradually over the past couple of years it has tapered off and i now have 1 bar to zero bars. My mobile internet 4g was usuable but now it is very unreliable. So I am thinking I will cancel with this company because they have let their services go to pot.

I am so frustrated with the level of service, their mobile site tells me the coverage is fine when its clearly not. I think they should be taking this a lot more seriously.

Im currently having to use 3g for my data as it hangs less but it is an absolute joke.

The network status says I should be receiving full coverage. There must be some discrepancy between the advertised signal strength and the actual signal strength.

Im sure you'll agree that this is great for people thinking about joining the network. However you might disagree due to a bias that this is fraudulent towards people on the network.

Hi James,

I checked the status and it says:

"We are aware of a problem with this site, but do not have an estimated time to fix it just yet."

Obviously this is 180 degrees out-of-whack with the coverage checker!

I have requested an email update. Hopefully it will improve because this is the worst it has ever been. My mobile has between 0 to 1 bars and the internet is very poor, constantly hanging and struggling to refresh pages.

The coverage checker shows the predicted coverage when there aren't any faults in your area.

The coverage tool serves two distinct functions

1: "Check coverage" - what is the usual predicted service in this location?

2: "Check status" - are there any known issues in this location? If yes - allow me to get updates on it. If no - allow me to report one

It's encouraging that there is a known issue reported on the tool.
