I haven't been able to receive or make calls for 4 days and had numerous calls to ee who say they don't have a date when this will be fixed ,apparently the masts are down in my area I have received a refund for £11 but this doesn't solve the issue, so because I'm not getting the service you should be providing I canceled my account, so ee know want to charge me for coming out of contract early, surely not ,when you are in breech of contract

@Profile closed , unfortunately, it is not always possible to get a quick fix, as it depends why the masts are down and where they are, as they may need the landowner’s permission.

If you have fixed broadband, then most phones nowadays have wifi calling.

You cannot just cancel the contract, you should have spoken to EE rather than just cancel, as they can then charge you for the rest of the contract.

The whole point of having wifi calling is so that if there is a problem with signal, you can still make and receive calls, etc.

The user who started this thread has closed their profile so is unlikely to see this reply, but network outages affect all operators from time-to-time and no-one is immune from this.
