Since the announcement that 3G is being decommissioned

I have noticed in a few areas that i am still using 3G, and sometimes 2G

I was wondering what will happen in those areas

I Should add Zero Coverage to that list

But what i am actually wondering is whether the 3G turn off will result in a reduction of service in some areas or resulting in no coverage at all.

Our EE Coverage and Network Status Checker will show available coverage in the areas, and will update if any changes are made.

There should not be any 3G-only areas - U2100 coverage will always overlap with 2G1800 and/or 4G techs.

Non-4G phones will fallback to 2G whenever 3G is unavailable - that applies now and after 3G switchoff.
