Were these coverage issues evident when you viewed your new home? This is trying to establish if this is just a poor coverage area, or if there could be a short-term issue.

Anytime you have indoor coverage issues for whatever reason, WiFi-calling allows you to continue using your phone without any need for mobile coverage.

I've got a similar issue, just moved house, the coverage checker tells me I should have excellent coverage for phone and 4g, but I have no signal for either in house or outdoor. Have been with EE forever but will have to leave as its just not possible to have no phone coverage!!

I’ll admit, checking phone coverage wasn’t top of my priorities when I viewed the house, and I blithely assumed it would work. Unfortunately I don’t have Wi-Fi installed yet (don’t get me started on that!) so Wi-Fi calling is also not an option.

Thanks for coming back to us.

Do we have any reported issues in the area if you select 'check status' on the network status checker?

If no problems are reported please tap 'report a problem' so our network team can investigate and keep you updated.
