I understand your comment, however whenever I receive the alert message there is no service. For the area in which I live the alerts are not generic messages. The service I experience is intermittent and I often cannot get connected to the 3G/4G network.

Why does the 3G/4G network service regularly fails in my home area. I receive regular EE text messages alerting users to problems in the area. Is it time for me to move to an alternative network operator?

Is there actually any impact on the service you're getting? I get the impression that EE is a bit trigger-happy with these "we have a problem" text messages. At one point I was getting 3 or 4 a week but service was almost always the same, no worse than usual, throughout.

Just to clarify, are you saying you are experiencing a total loss of coverage? That should certainly be reported on the tool and generate a "known issue" text for those registered users.

It's not uncommon for there to be no 3G coverage, but do you get 2G service alongside 4G?

Hi again, received an update text on Monday and normal service now resumed. I also spoke with a very helpful EE Techie on Monday who suggested a couple of reset tips. So far so good.Best wishes, Stephen. Sent from my Galaxy
