For the past few years I have been receiving bad 5G and 4G service in my area of Peterborough. And is affecting my line of work Everytime I call up to complain I always get the same response " masts are down I've engineer is on it" apparently a engineer has been on it for 3 years 🤦I pay £57 for three Sims. Not worth it. I have found much better deals elsewhere. So I'll be calling up soon to cancel my contract.

When I am at home it's mostly ok.

But when I go to certain areas in my town. I get no signal at all or very poor signal. Even if I am close to a mast. It's affecting my business as I do food deliveries. And I cannot accept the order as delivered. I literally have to leave the area. To mark it as accepted and delivered.

I cannot do a signal check because my phone is not listed.

Do you know anyone else who uses EE locally, who you could compare service with? If there genuinely are network problems they would affect all users indiscriminately. The amount of your monthly bills is immaterial, but are these issues happening in areas of poor coverage? You can safely use the nearest equivalent phone to do coverage & status checks, it needn't be the exact same device.

Sometimes it dies completely get a small red X on my signal bar it happens when I'm working. Which is the worst part. I know some friends who are on different networks and they don't seem to have the same problem. That's why I think it might be just EE.

Yes had a replacement SIM been through the whole process.

When I call up. I get the same excuse.

Totally agree with you. It is truly the worst phone experience I have had. I live in Oxford, and there are significant popular areas that cannot get a phone signal. Every time I call in, the usual nonsense excuses are given. What makes matters worse is that I left O2 to join EE, and I knew the store salesman!! When I asked him ten days later why he let me join, knowing where I was often based, he simply hid behind mast excuses. I'm buying out of the contract tomorrow, and getting a deal elsewhere that gives me the same call and data package for 25% of the EE charge. Even 3 have better coverage in Oxford than EE!

Please, don't. I've done everything, including a new SIM. EE are the worst network I have ever experienced, and I live in Oxford, a student town. If I had the time, I would stand outside the Oxford store with a placard telling people not to bother..... I've already made it clear on my socials, and that has helped a lot of my friends and punters decide against.
