I have got the same problem and since ee screwed up my replacement sim card I am lucky if I get a signal. The signal strength of where I live is non existence where I live in Scotland I might as well go and live on top of Ben nevis if I report the problem to ee I get back there is no known issues with your signal.

Has the signal always been the same or has this got worse recently?

Hi Leanne, I have had nothing but problems with ee this past week I asked
them to send me a replacement Sim card for my phone as my other Sim card
was damaged oh they did send me the replacement but they sent it for my
tablet. So I asked again for another replacement Sim card which came today
24.08.22 I was told it was fully activated oh no it wasn't but this one
won't activate I have got an appointment with my local ee store on Friday
to sort all this out. I need my phone as I have got health issues I checked
out the signal coverage for where I live I can't make no phone calls inside
my flat but was told by ee that I need to go into my garden to get a signal
so I can make a call. I am well and truly pi**ed off with ee it's like
living back in the 90s trying to get a phone signal.

Thanks for explaining, @Kh171.

So before your SIM card was damaged, you were able to get a signal in your flat, but now you can't?

I think it is either a local issue or a problem with this replacement SIM card. Hopefully when you pop in-store, they can help get you sorted.

Thank you Chris. Sorry my reply is late but I have not been feeling too
well today and because I have Cancer I spend a lot of time sleeping. I will
tell you that due to ee mucking me about with this Sim card farce I have
missed my deadline for my appointment as the hospital couldn't get in touch
with me to tell me when I was having my colonoscopy and endoscopy it now
looks like it could be next year now before I get my appointment, but by
that time I might not be here as I have 7 Tumors in my Colon. So you can
guess how I feel about ee just now, before I had this problem with my Sim
card I use to get a brilliant signal now it's just about non existent if
anyone rings me they can't hear me talking to them and they ring off. I
could do with some signal booster in my flat as I don't fancy standing in
my garden when it's pouring with rain or its freezing cold.

Hi To James and every one.

Well James I can't remember what you asked for but was it my post code that you wanted if so then it's XXX XXX l have got appointment with my ee store tomorrow morning but this could be a waste of time as how they going to help sort out this signal problem. I have been with ee since 2017 but it seems like I am back in the 1990s and in the Twilight Zone as there is no signal on my other phone. What's the point having a mobile phone if it's not going to work due to signal problems. You have to look on the downside of things with this poor signal reception I could be laid on the floor due to a accident but who can I ring for help answer no one as the signal from ee isn't working. I so wished that I hadn't stayed with ee and got a new contract with them if I could afford to pay them off then I would, why should I have to stand in the bloody garden to receive a phone Call or to make a call on my phone. This signal problem needs sorting out quick before something serious happens to other ee people who live in my post code area.

[Mod edit: Please do not post your post code in this public forum. Thanks]
