Is anyone having network issues in Middlesbrough area. Internet speeds are very slow and I have an outdoor mast. Thus us day 4 and its driving me nuts.

Have you checked EE network status checker?

This sounds daft but it's likely heat related. The hot weather will impact the equipment.

Coverage is stating good. I have tested the Internet speed it is 2.18 megabits a second. It has took 3 hrs to download 1 episode of something I am watching on the tv

The coverage checker serves two purposes:

1:"Check coverage" is what I suspect you've used - checks for coverage in a given area

2: "Check status" searches for known issues in an area, and also includes the option to "Report a problem" if nothing is shown but multiple EE users have similar problems.
