There are places where there is no 5G, but I mostly have 5G where `I am.

How long ago did you receive your SIM card and is your phone 5G enabled, as older phones are not. I have no knowledge about Samsung, as I have IPhone and know that 5G on IPhones have only been available since IPhone 12.

You can do a check to see if 5G is available where you are by clicking on check coverage and network status.

Any 5G device/SIM will use 4G wherever 5G isn't available.

4G has been rolling out (and still is) for many years and not all areas will have both technologies.
