hi there ,

i have the pac code for my mobile , and broadband dongle , but the pocket landline is a virtual landline that diverts to my mobile number , that’s important to me and i’m not sure a pac code can be used or not .

The Virtual Landline number belongs to EE, all the Call routing to the selected EE Mobile Numbers is done In House on EE,s Own Network Switches so hence why there are no additional Call per Min charges.

The only way I can see you using the Pocket Landline with another Mobile Operater is to retain the Service with 1 EE Mobile Number then do a Instant Divert from the EE Mobile Number to another Network Mobile of your choice, the Divert Charges will come out of the EE Mobile Plan.

@mikeliuk Personal Numbers are certainly not an option in this senario, especially if used in conjunction as a Small Business use, you wont have any Customers left by the time they get there next Phone Bill.

Although Personal Numbers start with prefix 07XXX they are not Mobile Call Rate Numbers, they are more expensive to call, Callers pay a Premium Charge to call them and they are not included in any Mobile Call Plans for free.

The PAC process is indeed only for standard mobile numbers, and additional services such as (what are in effect) virtual landlines - I suspect - can't be easily transferred.

You may need to speak to business C/S to get a definite answer.
