Bt Sport Large Screen add on price.

Hello, I am getting conflicting information from EE tech support about the price of BT Sport large screen add on.

I decided to use my smart benefit to get BT Sport and then received a text saying the large screen add on is £5 p/m. I couldn't add this on via text so I rang tech support yesterday and was told that offer is correct and he proceeded to add that on to my account. He said it would show as £15 but I would only be charged £5.

Today I tried to watch BT and received an ID003 error so I called support again. This time I was told no such £5 p/m offer existed and I would be charged £15 p/m.

I am confused. Which is true? Can I get the large screen add on for £5?

I hope you're well and having a nice day, are you up to much or having a chilled one.

If you already have BT Sport as a smart benefit you can get the large screen add-on for £5. Can I just check does it show that you have this on your My EE account?

I have the BT Sport Ultimate Smart Benefit. On the app, it says I can add the BT monthly pass for £16.67. When I send Sport to 150 the reply says I can add the large screen option for £5 by replying “yes”. When I reply I get the following message

“We're sorry. To get free access to the BT Sport app you need to be on an EE pay monthly mobile, SIM only or tablet plan. To find out more, visit ee.co.uk/btsport”.

not sure how to proceed.

Could you try to log into your My EE app and go into Plan and Add-ons, then select BT sports, this will automatically add on large screen.

Please let me know if that works.

I’ll give it a try again, but don’t have much faith given I spoke to someone yesterday who was adamant no such £5 deal existed.
