BT Sport with Large Screen Ultimate confirmation

Hi,

I’ve added this to my account (a few issues but the EE team was great in this instance).

Now I was assured by the two members of the EE team that I spoke to that this add on now includes Ultimate and therefore I can watch the upcoming games this season in 4K (4K HDR is coming soon I believe).

Can someone clarify on here however that this is indeed the case.

@BMox81 If you have purchased the BT sport monthly pass at £20 this includes the large screen access. There is a cheaper pass at £10 and that’s just to watch via the app and this doesn’t include large screen access.

I have an EE subscription and within the app I now have the BT Sport with Large Screen. This costs £15 but I’ve got 3 months loyalty so my first payment will take place in November.

Two EE representatives I spoke to yesterday and today said that this add on includes Ultimate and therefore 4K.

Can this be confirmed here please?

BT Sport Ultimate is an option for your Smart Benefit. Events will be shown in HDR, 4K, 4K HRD depending on the event and device.

Is there a difference between add on and smart benefit?

As far as I’m aware my contract doesn’t contain a smart benefit.

Not to the service, no, @BMox81

Add-on means you pay on top of your plan, Smart Benefits are included with your plan (if you plan comes with them).

Ok, so with that and the message I have sent to you directly, can you confirm that the add on I have on my account will give me access to 4K on my Apple TV 4K (2021).

If you have BT Sport Ultimate on your account, then yes. It's difficult for me to confirm 100% as I don't have access to your account here.

The screenshot that you've sent me just says 'BT Sport with Large Screen access'. If our Mobile Care team have confirmed twice that you have BT Sport Ultimate, then I'm sure you will have. 🙂

@BMox81 I have BT Ultimate which does broadcast 4K but not HDR via ATV but I can get Dolby Atmos.

If you have a Smart TV you can download the app via the tv which you can then get 4K and HDR although I can’t get Atmos.
