Friends and family discount application

My dad has given my friend his friends and family discount, however, my friend has already taken out a contract for the phone in store, this was done on Friday. My friend has now received the friends and family discount code but we’re unable to find where we can apply it to his contract on the EE app. Could you please help us on how we can apply the discount code.

@Isabella5 They’ll need to call customer services to have this applied. customer services might say it’s not possible as you have to apply it at the time of taking out the contract but this isn’t true you actually have 6 months from the time of purchasing to add a F&F discount.

Hi Chris, my friend called customer service today and all advisers have said that the friends and family discount needs to be applied by my dad who works at ee. Is this correct? As I thought my dad just generated the discount code and then customer service could just apply it to the new contract?

The agents your friend spoke to are sport on. Your dad will need to add this, he can have a chat with his manager to find out how to do this.
