      <description>&lt;P&gt;I won’t be home when DPD deliver my phone tomorrow… can my partner take delivery of it ? I can leave him my driving license as proof it’s the right address&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;It’s my daughters Christmas present and dpd have already messed up delivery once !&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Your partner can only sign for the delivery if they have the same surname and their own ID.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the delivery fails, DPD will organise a re-delivery with you.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On certain types of orders, proof of ID is required, &lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/2421399"&gt;@Frazzled1&lt;/a&gt;. You should be notified by text message if that's the case. Did you receive one of those texts?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If proof of ID isn't needed, he can sign for it. If proof of ID is needed, then I'm really sorry, but the rules I posted above apply.&lt;/P&gt;
