Returns Pack due before new Phone arrives

Hey.

I'm upgrading my current phone to an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Looks like this isn't going to arrive until the end of the month... maybe(!) but the returns pack and texts I have received say I need to return my old phone by the 10th October.

Do I really have to return my old phone before receiving my new device?

@speedydan I recommend you call customer services about this.

You shouldn’t have to send it back until you get the new one.

I’ve spoken to the customer service team and we don’t have to send back until we get our new phones. They are obviously aware of the delay and the messages are just standard upgrading messages.
