New order stated dispatch in 24 hr but, isn't being done

Hi

I got a text inviting me to upgrade with trade in on my old phone. I went through the process, selected everything and confirmed. It stated in stock and would be dispatched in 24 hours but, when I track the order, it still says awaiting for a dispatch date.
Also, I never got a confirmation text or email about the order but, I have had an email saying that I will receive a postage package to return my old phone.

What's going on?

I have also just upgraded but not received any emails or texts confirming my upgrade

Hi Chris,

All I've had is a confirmation that the postage pack for my old phone return is on its way.

When I placed my order it said phone in stock and now when I look at the tracking it says awaiting dispatch date and also says back order. Thanks

I still haven’t received any emails or texts that I’ve upgraded but I received a notification on the DPD app that I have a parcel coming

Sounds like the order went through since you got that message about the returns packaging, @Kerr81.

Our courier company will be in touch when it's ready to deliver. If you're still worried about your order at all, our Mobile Care team will be able to check it for you.

Thanks Chris, I'm not so much worried about the order. More annoyed that when I selected it, it stated in stock and dispatched within 24 hours...and this clearly wasn't the case.
