I had a text to say the Xbox series x was back in stock, I ordered as soon as it was available. Paid the £10 upfront fee. Had an order confirmation email and then an out of stock email. I’ve rang EE and have been told they still have my order and it hasn’t been cancelled.

How likely am I to receive my order?
has this happened to anyone else?

I’ve only had a confirmation email so far. I’m really hoping my order has went through as I had a lot of messing about (thanks to EE themselves) to place the order so got it in later than planned. I won’t be happy if I missed it because of EE as I’ve waited months.

Did the £10 payment get taken from your account?

Hi,

Is there any way of finding out if the order was successful? If the stock was limited then not everyone will be guaranteed to get one so when will we find out if we did or not?

Also, do you have any idea of an estimated delivery date if the order did go through?

Right then so I ordered the xbox series x with additional controller 45 pounds add to plan at 08.42 this morning I then received my email with xko number saying that it is being processed,then at 14 35 I gets an email from ee saying Hi

Your order is almost complete, we will have you up and running soon.

We need a bit more information from you to complete the order.
If you can give us a call on 0800 079 0531, with your XKO ready......

So I call the number above and I was informed that the add to plan bundle I ordered was out of stock but yet they charged me for the 10 pounds to pay at the order page,I was told to cancel my order and that If I still wanted the xbox series x I had to reorder the 50 bundle on the Web store,I was told by the customer service assistant that 50 pounds add to plan were in stock so I did this and guess what out of stock not bloody happy at all,especially when I put the first order in early.

I ordered at 8am today.

Confirmation email received at 8:03.

Out of stock email then received at 13:22.

Called them straight up to be told call back after 3pm.

Called up after 3pm and was told it was just a automated response that alot of people got but order has still gone through.

Money was taken from my bank as soon as I placed the order this morning.

I don't have much hope as went through similar with the ps5.

Which bundle did you guys order? The £45 one (extra controller) or the £50 one with the game pass? I know you said you tried both @Gary8374

I’ve only had the confirmation email so far, nothing to say it’s out of stock or anything. This doesn’t make me any more hopeful though.
I tried to order the £50 bundle as this was the only one showing at the time, I was originally planning to order the £45 one. Hopefully I’m lucky and manage to get one if more people have tried to order the £45 one.

I first ordered the 45 pound bundle,and then after I was advised that it was out of stock and I should try and go for the 50 pound bundle I was told that I should cancel the first order before ordering the 50 pound bundle

When I phoned up after 3pm I was told they have had alot of calls regarding the out of stock email and they shouldn't of been sent out.

Money has come out my bank.

I'm not very hopeful about getting one as I ordered a ps5 when they cam put before Xmas and that was an absolute shambles. I expect the same.

yes I ordered at about 8:15, had an out of stock email about 9;30 am. Rang ee they said if I had an order email then it will be fulfilled. Had the courier text this afternoon.
