Delivery

Today I ordered some AirPod Pros as an add on to my phone plan. I spoke to a lovely woman who said on the phone “we can get them delivered tomorrow, on Tuesday. Is that okay?”

I got an email saying that my order was placed and added to my plan and it’s winging it’s way to me right this minute. However it says with DPD that you will get a text the day before it is meant to be here. I haven’t received this text and I cant track it online. All this was done before 21:00 as well so I should get one working day which would be tomorrow. Hopefully it comes tomorrow but just thought I’d post here anyway and see what people think. Hi @oshua,

If your order has been processed in time for delivery today, you'll receive a text from DPD with your delivery slot details before 11am.

Thank you for the reply. I have rang ee as well and that have told me that it says it is out for delivery today, and should be with you today so fingers crossed it is

No worries. However haven’t heard anything from DPD which is confusing. The guy on the phone today said that when he checked it said it was out for delivery today....

If you download the DPD app and register your details it should show your delivery information.

I have done this and it says no parcel activity...which is very strange seeing as the person yesterday told me it would get delivered today and the person I spoke to Tom the phone said he can see it says out for delivery today

I don’t want to end up staying awake all day waiting for it if it isn’t going to come as I’m on nights as well

Hi @oshua,

If there are no alerts on the DPD app, it's unlikely that your order will be delivered today.

You'll get a notification on the app as soon as your delivery slot is confirmed.

why is it that two people have told me it will get delivered today? I also have an email stating that if ordered before nine I would get it next day, I am on the phone again to ee to try and sort it out and understand what is going wrong.

I am however thankful for your help. I just don’t understand why I’m being told it will get delivered today anywhere from 9am till 6pm.

like I said I have work at 22:00 tonight and woke up early for it don’t want it to be the opposite or for me to miss it

Hi @oshua,

Our Customer Care Team may have just been checking the scheduled delivery date. If you were to miss your delivery, you can reschedule it via the DPD app.

I understand that. However I’ve been told on two occasions that it will be here today. I don’t want to reschedule the delivery I just want to know what is happening and why I haven’t been updated. Normal when i have ordered an item I will get notified when the item may arrive/time but nothing this time. Like I have discussed previously I am on the phone with ee.

I just wish DPD could just update me regarding the order. Whether they have it or when it may be delivered. Not left in the dark wondering if it will come today tomorrow or whenever.

I have spoken to ee. They have said it has been picked from the warehouse and that it is awaiting for it to go to DPD. She did say it could be here between 3-4 but who knows. Also said it could take 3-5 days which no one made me aware of. Thank you for the help though regarding the issue. I will just wait for DPD to text me telling me when it will arrive. Fingers crossed it does come today but looking very very unlikely

Just want to say thank you again for all of the advice. You were right about it all and I shouldn’t of doubted. Didn’t matter that much of it coming today. Shortly after our discussion I got a notification and email saying it will get delivered tomorrow. Silly me
