I upgraded my contract today to the iPhone 12 and received my e-mail adivsing my order is on it's way and was provided with my xko reference.

I received an email a few hours later with subject header "about your 4gee order" asking me to call "0800 079 0531" as they need some more information, however the body of the e-mail does not look very professional and there is no footer at the end of the email or any the usual EE graphics which are in e-mails. Is this a fake number or e-mail?

Also none of the details of my new plan are showing on myEE yet so it does not look like a new phone/contract has even been completed.

Can someone confirm that the phone number i was provided with is safe to call?

Thanks.
