Iphone 12 Pro order - tracker changed back to "Awaiting Confirmation"

Good morning,

I ordered the Iphone 12 Pro Gold 128gb by phone on the 23rd October.

My tracker was updated about a week ago to the expected delivery date being 18-23rd November (so today onward). However this morning it's now changed back to "awaiting confirmation". I'm sure i read on a previous thread that this can happen just before dispatch. I don't want to hassle 150 as i know they're busy and waiting's not the end of the world but does anybody know what this might mean? Nothing from DPD yet.

My invoice also gets produced on the 18th but today now says paid!

Welcome back to the community.

Once your order is ready to dispatch, you will receive a text or email from DPD with your delivery details, this can be up to 8PM the day before delivery.

You will also get messages from 150 to let you know your plan has been changed to the one you selected when you upgraded.

Has your payment been taken from your bank today for your bill?

So would i be safe to assume that dispatch is imminent in that case? Seeing as it's now been 26 days since ordering?

Payment's not been taken no, however i normally pay on the phone on my payday later in the month anyway. I'm guessing it will all update when i get the texts you mention below.

Hi Dave,

The same thing happened to me. Same date of order, same time frame of delivery and back to 'awaiting confirmation' again.

Spoke to EE via phone and they said that it's dependent on Apple's stock and the COVID situation, so they couldn't give a time frame.

It's just a little frustrating that a time frame was given, then back to 'awaiting confirmation'. But considering everything going on in the world, waiting isn't so bad.

Have you had any luck/further updates since?

Actually I have, download the DPD app if you haven’t already. I got a notification on there last night that it’s going to be delivered tomorrow! My ee tracker changed back to expected delivery 18-23rd again this morning 🙂

That's great to hear!

I checked my EE tracker today which said order dispatched, but no delivery date given yet.

Downloaded the DPD app but wasn't able to track as I don't have the tracking number. But looking like it will definitely arrive in the coming days.

Hi phonephone,

You shouldn’t need the DPD tracker number, register your phone number and email address with the DPD app and that should work 🙂
