Update to a recently made order

Hi there - this one is mainly for the staff on this forum to help out with.

I recently made an order for an upgrade to my SIM contract (well, it was less of an upgrade because I have unlimited everything already and more taking advantage of deals available to me). The upgrade was to move my £33/mth contract to one that was £28/mth, but it also meant I should be moving to a 5G-capable SIM (if that's a thing) and also taking advantage of a free pair of BeatsX earphones.

Side note to the above - the £33/mth contract was also marketed as a "Smart SIM" contract if I recall correctly, and I believe that I was also meant to receive a 5G SIM in that situation as well - I never received a SIM for that but it wasn't too much of an issue then. I'm not sure if receiving 5G-capable SIMs is location-dependent - I'm based in Bournemouth which isn't a 5G town (yet!), although once COVID-19 restrictions lift enough it would be nice to have those capabilities available to me if I travel to a 5G town with a 5G phone.

I'm able to provide any details necessary to help out with this one!

Cheers,

Luke

Ah, wonderful! Thanks for the update on that one. I'm looking to see if Apple announces a new 5G-capable iPhone soon, so if I end up getting it I'll try the SIM out!

In terms of the BeatsX earphones I mentioned, there have been no updates about potential delivery dates either via email or text. The deal has since come off the site for these earphones, maybe because of a lot of people were signing up for it but that's just a guess. This order/upgrade was made on 7th October, so I would have expected some sort of update, even if it was something stating a delay.

Is it possible to get a further update to this, or is it just a case of waiting for more updates from EE/DPD? I can provide my order number if it helps, although this isn't urgent at all and was simply a matter of curiosity.

Thanks!

Luke
