No stock of iPhone 11

Hi, I upgraded on Sunday to iPhone 11 64gb in red, was told it was in stock. It was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday but after I called EE 3 times I eventually get told it’s actually out of stock and they don’t no when it will be back in stock so I am just to wait. Why is it still showing as in stock in on the website and available for next day delivery? Surely this should be shown as out of stock ? It’s very misleading and false advertising.

I can see by looking on the online shop and our stock levels it does show as in stock.
